The Irish government legalised scooters which came into effect November 2024 under the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023. The main legal requirements are below and the key takeaway is that the max speed can’t exceed 20km p/h. Your orders will be set at 8/12/20km. The scooters have 3 speed modes, but I’ve never seen anybody beginner or medium.))
